Math Teacher
A life-long problem solver and lover of learning, challenges, teaching, and orchestrating student discovery, I have been teaching for over 37 years having worked with K - College/Adults in Math, Science, English Language Development, and a self-contained classroom. Recently retired, I just cannot seem to keep out of education. I am the math specialist and tutor for my district's online independent study school. As a CPM teacher leader I lead workshops, do site visits, and coach. In my 'spare time', I love to ride bikes with my friends and travel, mostly to visit and help with grandchildren 😊. After the town due east of us burned down (Camp Fire) 😢, I started volunteering with the North Valley Animal Disaster Group, helping to evacuate and care for animals impacted by, well, disasters.
