Session 2j: Peter Drucker famously quipped, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast every time”. What can that perspective teach us about our work to grow reflective, innovative problem-solvers? This session will highlight the importance of encouraging mistake-making and reflection (for students and teachers!) in developing a culture of joyful growth and innovation. We will present strategies to move students and teachers from a posture of hiding mis-takes‚ to one of reflectively embracing first-takes.
