Grades without the Grades: Using Feedback to Inform Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Without grades on a test, students become more driven to see what mistakes they have made and how they made them. They become more open to have conversations on how to make corrections in their thinking and communication of solutions. Non-numerical feedback is not limited to tests, and can include technology, standards-based grading (even if you don’t use this), and can shape your instruction daily. Making this shift in your teaching doesn’t have to be difficult, but takes practice, and can be truly transformative.
