Are Some Representations of Multiplication Better Than Others?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Session 3f: We will focus on building students’ understanding of multiplication, conceptually and contextually. In particular, we will explore how representations of multiplication can be used to support students’ sense-making and algebraic thinking by drawing connections across grade levels. This workshop is designed for middle and high school teachers. Come ready to do math, work with others, share ideas, and ask questions.
