We host this conference as an investment in the most important educational resource that America has—the classroom teacher. We are honored that you will join us. It is our hope that what you see, hear, do, and learn at this conference will motivate and inspire you to continue the pursuit of mathematics with your students and colleagues!

The conference will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport Hotel in Burlingame, California. Just five minutes from San Francisco International Airport. The LEED® Gold certified hotel has easy access to Highway 101 and offers a complimentary shuttle to SFO.

Are Some Representations of Multiplication Better Than Others?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

We will focus on building students’ understanding of multiplication, conceptually and contextually. In particular, we will explore how representations of multiplication can be used to support students’ sense-making and algebraic thinking by drawing connections across grade levels. This workshop is designed for middle and high school teachers. Come ready to do math, work with others, share ideas, and ask questions.
