Session 4b: Methods of paving avenues through barriers that allow access, equity and success to all students from my classroom will be shared. Including affirmation of students, raising rigor to create productive struggle and good teaching strategies to support students that have worked for me and my students. This is a hands on session.  Be prepared to do some math! Keywords: status, micro-messages, macro-messages, meaningful instruction, access and opportunity, equity.
