Attending this event?

We host this conference as an investment in the most important educational resource that America has—the classroom teacher. We are honored that you will join us. It is our hope that what you see, hear, do, and learn at this conference will motivate and inspire you to continue the pursuit of mathematics with your students and colleagues!

The conference will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport Hotel in Burlingame, California. Just five minutes from San Francisco International Airport. The LEED® Gold certified hotel has easy access to Highway 101 and offers a complimentary shuttle to SFO.

  • Registration for the conference and pre-conference sessions are closed.
  • Reservations for the CPM Block of Rooms is closed. You can still book rooms at the Hyatt Regency at their regular price. No breakfast is included when reserving rooms this way.

Math Rigor: More Testing for English Learners?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Increase English Learners learning of math, not with more test prep, but by selectively integrating maker projects with a focus on grade-level mathematics. See English Learners and economically disadvantaged public school students build agency, engage in engineering practices, and learn to take risks. Also, participate in a brief Maker math activity with a follow-on discussion about adapting projects to math standards of various grade levels across a site or district.
