Teacher Talk: How the Questions We Ask and the Way We Ask Them Make a Difference in Student Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The Standards for Mathematical Practice ask students to develop the ability to be adaptive problem solvers. How can we build our repertoire and expertise around questioning and productive discourse to positively impact student learning? In this session, we will examine resources to support questioning, lifting specific strategies and tools for use with our students. We will practice with each other as models to gain confidence and ease with questioning.
