I am in my 12th year teaching middle school in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I have taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Currently, I am teaching 8th grade CC3. I have been a part of CPM's TRC team for the two years investigating Number Talks and how to increase Equity and Access in Study Teams. I really love the middle school student and want to help increase and encourage their love for learning! I have a compassion for all students in my classroom!

In my presentation with my colleague, Tracey Brandl, our focus will be on how we use closure to deepen understanding of each day’s learning targets along with having student’s analyze their success with each day’s math goals through self-reflection.
