I taught HS math for 8 years followed by 15 years of teaching college math before leaving public education for a research-based non profit. My work led me to consume research about how children learn math and then design a program to translate the research into practice with with teachers of children ages 3-8 years. This year I returned to the high school, classroom and to using the CPM curriculum.
